Our focus for 2008 is to continue to build our next generation of dogs by continually selecting the important traits that make our product different. Having pride in the success Top Gun Kennel has achieved is far less important then meeting new Friends, having time for the pure enjoyment of watching young dogs develop on wild birds in Iowa and surrounding states. We never imagined growing into the business we have today when starting out looking for that first great hunting companion.

Fifteen years later we feel we have learned a great deal about the breed, training, testing, trialing along with the different needs our customers have in all parts of the country. Titles are only important to us if we can learn something from them. Having a great hunting/Family companion, reading testimonies of successful hunts, training accomplishments and the many wholesome hunting experiences are our most rewarding achievements.

Our goal in this business is to make a positive contribution to this breed, by teaching others to train and breed better German Shorthairs, while making new Friends and many enjoyable memories.
