The
Gift of Time
We all have a “wish list” for
this Holiday Season! Many of us have different priorities,
interests and needs.
There
are never enough hours in a day or days in a week for our busy
work schedule, Family and/or personal needs. Each year seems
to go by faster then the previous and we wonder where time goes? This
Holiday season we are thankful for the gift of “time” itself!
The past, the present, and each day we have together, and we
cherish each moment of time as a gift given to us! Time is
one gift we
often overlook and take for granted that we have plenty of!
As we look at the many different ways
we can use time personally or with one another, one must begin
to realize the importance
of this special blessing we have. Time to work-Time to play,
Time to talk-Time to listen, Time to worship-Time to fellowship,
Time to pray-Time to praise, Time to receive-Time to share,
Time for
others-Time for ourselves, Time to rejoice-Time of sorrow,
Time to love-Time to forgive, Time for....... One of the
most important
is time for God in prayer, as this time will help us prioritize
and appreciate the time we have left together!
In late August,
we were told that our youngest child had less than 1% chance
of spending time this Holiday Season
with us!
With God
on our side answering many prayers, we witness another
miracle, and praise Him for this special gift of time!
Let us
remember this Holiday Season that the true reason we celebrate
is because a child was born unto this world
to teach
us that the
time we have on earth is short, but because of how we
choose to use this time will determine where we spend our time in eternity!
He made no promises of how long we would continue to
receive
this gift of time!
