New Kennel
In August of 2007, we started breaking ground on a new facility
for our kennel. In November, we moved into our new kennel
and are very happy with the results. During the planning process,
we consulted with many experts in kennel designs including
state and federal inspectors, and premier breeding, training
and boarding kennels throughout the country. We have been
blessed to receive many ideas and recommendations from those
who have traveled these waters before and were willing to
share their experiences.

Following are a few of the key features of our new
facility:
2600 square foot kennel includes living quarters for visitors
to our kennel business with full bathroom and kitchen accommodations.
Equipped with six 50 square
foot indoor/outdoor runs and six outdoor only runs for summer
kennel needs designed by Life Time Fence Company.
Two whelping rooms with
zone heat and decking over contained storage to help us continue
to provide healthy litters and a comfortable environment for
visitor acclimation and selection.
Heated floors provide
comfort during the Iowa winters and allow full year training
in a dry, warm 68 degree environment.
State-of-the-art ventilation
system from www.KeepTheHeat.com
to control humidity and help eliminate bacteria, odors, and
viruses while maximizing air quality and helping us save heat
(66%) in the winter months.
Our goal in building this kennel was to provide a comfortable
environment in combination with a bio security system to ensure
maximum health, safety and performance. The kennel was also
designed to provide a positive and enjoyable atmosphere to
facilitate proper socialization training for all dogs under
our care.
We would like to stress that our new kennel is all about
quality and not about quantity. We have no plans to increase
the number of dogs under our care or operate a boarding facility
beyond our standard training requirements.
We want to thank all of you who provided support to our project
and welcome everyone to pay us a visit to share in our appreciation
for our new facility.
