In 2008, Higgins earned the “German Shorthair Pointer Club of Americas Hunt Test Sire of the Year.” His offspring gained attention from brace mates and judges both at the highest levels of testing and trialing, as well as from those who followed them in the wild bird fields from across the country. He produced titles such as Versatile Champions, Master/Senior/Junior Hunters, Field and Amateur Field Champions. But equally as important, Higgins produced family hunting companions and proved to us that your hunting companion can live with his or her family inside the home.

We're sorry to report that Higgins passed away in 2011 but we still have frozen semen available to extend his championship breeding legacy. He will be sorely missed at home and in the field.
